Review for Dollars (Dollar #2) by Pepper Winters: ★★★★

Dollars (Dollar, #2)Dollars by Pepper Winters

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

::..Reviewed for Red's Midnight Readers..::

I was given an ARC of this in exchange for an honest review. I gave it 4 stars.

Dollars is book 2 in a series of 5 that follows Elder and Pim.

This is one of those books that frustrates and excites me in equal measure. The slow build up drove me insane and at one point I wondered if I would ever reach the end of the book but alas I did and it left me begging for me....see what I mean? Frustrating!!

Pepper Winters once again has you all tied up in knots and desperate to find out what her new captor has in store next for poor Pim. The tantalizing snippets she feeds us of Elder's past do nothing to take the edge off the need for more, more, more!!

It's another good read from an obviously talented author, my only problem is that it lacked any sort of action until the last quarter, so for me it bordered on boring for a while there. However the last 25% more than made up for it, this is why I gave it 4 stars and not 3.
