Review for Hades by Elda Lore: ★★★★★

Hades: Modern DescendantsHades: Modern Descendants by Elda Lore

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

::..Reviewed for Red's Midnight Readers..::

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I gave it 5 stars.

Wow!! Hades!
I would have eaten the forbidden fruit and I would have drunk the forbidden water and belonged to Hades forever.
When I finished I felt like I had been kicked the stomach. I think I might be experiencing my first ever book hanger and I don't like it. I need more from Hades and Persephone. No one could possibly live without Hades in their life.

Elda Lora has reminded me why I love Paranormal reads, this was on the edge of your seat good. The story itself is a real page turner, gripping you from the beginning and pulling you into the story. The details of the underworld are painted with vivid detail that as a reader you can see it with such clarity, you'd be forgiven for thinking it actually exists.

Amazing. My only issue is that I felt that it ended to soon. I need more.

Blurb

“Welcome to Hell.”

Persephone Fields is just an average girl: beloved daughter and loyal friend. One night decides her Fate, when the prince of The Underworld becomes her savior and her kidnapper.

Hades has lived centuries in darkness and sin. When he decides to save the blonde goddess, he doesn’t consider the ramifications of his decision to bring her into his realm.

Two worlds divided struggle to find friendship in a history of family discord beyond their control. When attraction blurs the line, questions result in choices of love or loyalty.

A modern twist of the classic myth: Hades and Persephone, this version incorporates the sensual tension of opposites divided by contemporary humanity and mythical underworlds. Also reminiscent of Romeo and Juliet, this is a love story ripe with desire.
