Through The GlassThrough The Glass by Lisa J. Hobman

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

::..Reviewed for Red's Midnight Readers..::

I was provided with an ARC of this, in exchange for an honest review.

I am a massive fan of Lisa J Hobman, she is one of those authors for me that I would read anything she wrote, whether I knew what the story was about or not. She has yet to write anything I haven't enjoyed and she didn't disappoint with Through The Glass.

She once again manages to combine a steamy romantic story with beautiful Scottish scenery that just adds to the magic her words create.

Her stories always feel so heartfelt and Through The Glass is no different. I had all the feels whilst ready Flick and Jim's story.

This is a standalone romance with Lisa's amazing writing ability bringing the story full circle, leaving no stone unturned and wrapping it up in a neat little package.

Be warned though Lisa has a habit of breaking your heart before piecing it back together piece and piece but this story is definitely not to be missed.

If you love a sexy love story filled with drama, intrigue and a whole of sizzling chemistry, then go ahead an once click it now!

She is an amazing author!!!

You meet someone, fall in love, and live happily ever after…right? That’s what Scotsman Jim MacDuff thought, but after years of being blissfully happy in London, everything he holds dear comes crashing, spectacularly down.

Hampshire born Felicity “Flick” Johnston-Hart is passionate about painting what she sees through the glass and she adores her first love, Jim, more than life. But her mother’s high hopes for her only daughter eventually corrode Flick’s happiness, making her believe that painting and Jim are simply not enough. Just like the subjects of her paintings, she begins to experience her life as an observer instead of really living. And she realises that some decisions—even though they may be wrong—once made cannot be undone.

After settling back into life as a single man in a beautiful Highland village, Jim is graced with an unexpected and unwanted visitor bringing painful news. A letter from beyond the grave leads him to do something he never imagined and takes him on a journey he didn’t anticipate.

Can he heal the pieces of his heart and move on? Or is it true that a broken heart can never be a blank canvas?
