I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I gave it 3.5 stars.

Despite the novella size of this book, this is a slow burn romance with a lot of will they, won't they along the way. It was filled with angst and lots of drama and some steamy scenes thrown in to keep things hot.

The writing style flowed nicely, moving along at a steady pace.

It's a decent start to a new series but I felt it had so much more potential that it didn't get anywhere close to fulfilling. I did however find it an ok read and will be looking forward to the next installment.
