Six is a man who carries the heavy burden of his past around with him. A constant reminder of his brutal past. Growing up in care found him bounced around from one place to the next. Feeling like he never belonged anywhere until joining a gang in his early years and finding love with a rival gang member.

Love knows no reason, no sin. It doesn't see or hear, it just is.

A love that was forbidden.
A love that would strip him of everything he held dear and land him in jail after exacting revenge on those who had sought to wrong him.

Fast forward in time snd Six now finds himself living a whole new life away from the gangs but when old Demons come a knockin' , Six finds himself dragged back into the murky world of gangs he thought he had left behind for good.

With hurt and betrayal that leaves Six reeling, will he let the past drag him back into a life of violence or will he fight to keep his life on track and away from all that darkness?

My heart absolutely broke for poor six as we delved deeper into his brutal past. I mean don't get me wrong he was a tool in places BUT once I got to know the motivatation behind his actions, it just drew me in even deeper. Here we have a man who has almost been broken by the actions of his past, carrying around all this guilt that drives him to do the things he does and he doesn't think he deserves a better life away from all of his misery.

Until a desperate Misty walks into his bar making him question how he wants to live his life. Of course these new feelings leave Six confused and cause him to what Six does....push her away but Misty is one tough cookie, he didn't count on.
She is a feisty heroine you can't help but love. She wants Six and wants to prove to him that she isn't as fragile as he makes out she is. She's spunky and not afraid to take a chance on this tormented sould. Once Six starts opening up his heart to Misty their unbridled passion for each other is exposive.

If you like your stories edgy and raw then SIX is the number for you.
