Jake is damaged, some would think beyond repair. Maybe they're right but Addy thinks differently and she is determined to prove she's right!
What can I say? I am a huge fan. She has only gone and done it again.
I thought I loved Black and that nobody would ever make me feel the way that Black's character did but T.L Smith went and knocked the ball out of park and proved me wrong!! Jake is definitely my favourite.
I didn't expect Jake's story to be so compelling but once he stepped out of Black's shadow, BOOM! He had me. Every word of his story held me in a vice like grip until I was completely wrung out.
It was dark, it was gritty and it allowed us to see a different side of Jake, never seen before. He is a character certainly deserving of his own story and this talented author has definitely done him justice.
